ABOUT BROOKE
There are 2 things in my life that have stayed constant: 1- my desire to travel and learn about people, places, ideas, cultures, and food that are different than what I grew up with, and 2- self development, growth and healing. The latter aspect probably has a lot to do with the fact that I was quite depressed as a child, (and "quite" is putting it mildly). I was reading self-help books at a really young age and basically became obsessed with the idea that we are more than the way we are feeling and thinking. As hopeless and depressed as I was, deep inside my core being, I felt an innate craving to search and try to become "better" than what I was feeling. As a fully grown adult(!!) I began to study holistic ways to manage not only my mental wellbeing, but my physical being too. I became a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, and am continually investigating and learning about how incredible our minds and bodies are. I believe that Western and Eastern philosophies can exist in harmony and thus, provide the greatest benefits to our lives. I had taken medications for years to help manage my depression and am so grateful I had them at that time in my life. These days, as I manage my depression as part of my lifestyle, without a doubt the most impactful practice I incorporate daily is meditation. It was only natural for me to become a Certified Teacher of Meditation Practice. I am continually seeking knowledge and ways to expand my practice. Now, my favorite thing about meditation is sharing it with others and watching others' lives transform because of it. I look forward to sharing meditation with you and joining you on your journey.

Brooke creates a very warm and inviting atmosphere. She has a way of bringing you into the moment with her voice and guidance. I have trouble settling my mind, but have found stillness much easier with her group meditations.
